Nathan Arunachalam AT
Architectural Technologist

Nathan has a strong foundation in design and construction with a passion in architecture. He was inspired by weekends spent on job sites with his father, who led a career as a project manager, to pursue a career in architecture himself. Nathan’s passion lies in the evolution of design, particularly in how individuals uniquely perceive each building or space.

His inspiration from his father and own experiences ultimately led him to pursue a diploma in Architectural Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Nathan attended SAIT in the 2022 fall semester and graduated in April 2024.

Since joining Gravity, Nathan has primarily worked on townhouse developments, overseeing projects from the beginning of the Building Permit phase through to preparation for Issued for Construction  drawings. His experience includes mixed-use and multi-residential projects ranging from 2 to 6 stories, with expertise in both combustible and non-combustible construction methods. Notable projects he has contributed include Gravity’s CCH University Towns, Zen Greystone North, and Sage Ravines.

Nathan enjoys expanding his skills in rendering and building code interpretation, and always finds ways to refine his approach to architecture. His dream projects include designing an upscale single-family home or an innovative mixed-use development.

In his free time Nathan enjoys drawing and sketching, experimenting with different rendering software, and diving deeper into building codes.

We are thrilled to have him part of our team as a technologist!
