Scott Restemeyer
Senior Technologist and Contract Administrator
When Gravity decided we needed a confident team member to lead and maintain our growing portfolio of work in the BC Interior, we were relieved to see a resume like Scott’s come across our desk. With 23 years of experience, Scott has an impressive background in managing and coordinating projects as a senior technologist and project manager for notable architecture firms throughout Vancouver.
Like many individuals in this field, Scott’s years of industry experience were rooted in a talent and passion since childhood. Who knew building Lego as a kid would be the beginning of a lifelong career! Scott has always loved seeing his ideas come to life, and during his teenage years began developing his skills in hand drafting, which became pivotal to him pursuing a career that fostered creativity and his detail-oriented mindset. Scott later received his diploma in Construction Engineering Technology at the Conestoga College Institute of Technology in Kitchener, Ontario where he was elected valedictorian by his fellow classmates.
Over the years Scott has built a large portfolio of work. A few projects he has been part of include the 8X on the Park by Brenhill Developments and Currents at Water’s Edge by Polygon in Vancouver, as well as NUVO by Anthem in Burnaby and Concord Gardens in Richmond, BC.
As our BC Interior contract administrator, Scott actively participates in site visits across BC, including at the Sun Peaks Switchback Creek project and the Sun Peaks Staff Housing Project both located at the Sun Peaks resort an hour north of Kamloops. He also recently took the lead preparing the DP drawings for the Badke Road Multi project in Kelowna.
Scott’s ability to problem solve quickly and effectively, along with his obvious care for client relationship development, exceeds expectations and closely aligns with Gravity’s values.
His dream project would be incorporating exposed mass timber members into the structural and aesthetic design of a public library.
Scott lives in West Kelowna with his wife and two children. His on-the-go disposition at work does not stop after hours—he loves to hit the slopes when he can and enjoys playing hockey with his kids. He also enjoys reading, hiking and all things sports. Being originally from Ontario, he is naturally a Blue Jays fan, although we aren’t sure on his hockey team preference. We’ll keep that confidential for now.
Scott joined Gravity in October, 2023.
