Paul Miller Architect AAA
Project Architect
Paul’s impressive resume and experience make him a standout addition to our team. From his early days with a design-build firm, to his role in a boutique firm specializing in high-end residential projects— Paul has developed a strong architectural background. He has eight years experience in the field and is a licensed architect with the Alberta Association of Architects.
Paul’s path to architecture was shaped by a childhood interest in construction and design. His work with a home builder during his undergraduate studies sparked a fascination with how buildings are assembled and how design is brought to life through construction. Initially, his interest was in project management but his curiosity led him to architecture. After his undergrad he decided to pursue his Masters in Architecture, where he graduated from the University of Calgary in 2016.
One of Paul’s notable achievements is his participation in the Winter City Design competition for the City of Calgary, where he presented “Illumine,” a celebrated project in his portfolio. This award emphasizes his commitment to designing spaces that enrich communities and push the boundaries of innovative design.
His dream project would be a small community building that incorporates public and private use, thus creating as much engagement as possible. Paul is a great addition to our office where his collaboration does not go unnoticed. He is always asking insightful questions and prompting creative discussion. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his dog, Alan Jackson, riding motorcycles, listening to music, and bird hunting.
