Harmony Park
Located just west of Calgary, Harmony is an award-winning community in the MD of Rockyview. Within this community are two projects we've completed with StreetSide Developments including this one, Harmony Park. The first of two phases provides 47 homes in 10 buildings. The second phase has another 18 units in 5 more buildings. In total, the Harmony Park development will provide 65 homes.
The buildings all circle a central green space complete with a half-court and playground. They are a modern take on farmhouse architecture, but with a formality, one would expect of a regal house in town. They are of wood frame construction and clad mostly in Hardie siding, with the front facades clad predominantly in brick. Windows are metal clad and blend in with the trim.
Each townhouse in Harmony Park has two levels plus a full basement, three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a double detached garage. StreetSide wanted to cater to different aspects of the market by offering two distinct floorplans. The homes, therefore, range from 1,364 to 1,736 square feet. Despite the differences in area, both plan types have three bedrooms and laundry upstairs. The master bedrooms are all spacious and complete with a full ensuite and walk-in closet. The main level plans in both unit types are generous and open, and the basements have optional development plans that include another bedroom, bathroom and a rec room. Each of the homes comes with either a double or triple detached garage.
Construction of Harmony Park is complete, with a number of the buildings—including the one with the show suite.
