Habitat 8
Habitat 8 is a small townhouse project that Inertia Residential Design (Gravity’s sister company) designed for Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta in Calgary's Radisson Heights neighbourhood.
The eight units are arranged into two buildings that face one another across a landscaped courtyard. A central pathway connects each units’ front door to both 36th Street and to the surface parking, waste and recycling located at the lane. Each unit also has it’s own private ‘back yard’ on the outside edges of the property.
Each home is two storeys, between 2000 and 2050 SF, and features an open main floor, three bedroom upper floor, and a full developable basement that makes a fourth bedroom possible. The building is economically clad in cementitious panel, finished with Easytrim, as well as as vinyl siding.
We are very happy to have been a part of Habitat for Humanity’s mission to make home ownership affordable.
