Colbalt Bay Towns

The Bayview Townhomes project in Airdrie, Alberta, is a modest low-rise multi-residential development consisting of 13 buildings and six building types with a total of 91 units. This project offers a mix of stacked and standard townhomes for the Bayview community.

Two building types consist of 8-unit stacked townhomes featuring balconies and at-grade patios, with select units offering walkout conditions. The remaining buildings will consist of 6-7 units and be equipped with balconies off the second floor. Large windows accompany these outdoor spaces providing more natural light to shine through the homes.

The architectural design showcases a modern take on a traditional architectural style. The buildings feature pitched roofs and large windows, drawing inspiration from craftsman architecture while integrating contemporary elements. The colour palette is neutral, with muted greens and greys that blend well with the natural landscape, contributing to a cohesive, serene neighbourhood atmosphere.

The facades are simple yet detailed, with a combination of siding textures and subtle trim work that adds depth to the elevations. The townhomes are multi-level, each with a vertical emphasis that lends them a spacious appearance. The street design emphasizes a community-oriented layout, with sidewalks, green spaces, and shared paths, appropriate for pedestrian and bicycle use. The overall style blends a clean, modern aesthetic with warm design elements suitable for suburban residential settings.
